Copenhagen is just something else
Nyhavn is every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest. The colorful buildings, the boats, the whole scene - it just works. Food was great too, especially the smørrebrød. Easy city to get around and never felt unsafe.
Such a clean and walkable city!
Coming from a busy city, Copenhagen felt so calm and organized. Everyone cycles everywhere and it actually works! Torvehallerne market had some incredible local food - the fresh fish dishes were a highlight. Really well-run city overall.
Great city break, loved every bit
The Meatpacking District had some seriously good restaurants and a cool nightlife scene - not overdone, just right. Danish pastries everywhere and all of them genuinely delicious. People are relaxed and super easy to talk to.
Tivoli Gardens in winter is magical
Tivoli all lit up during the Christmas season is just stunning. The rides, the decorations, the hot drinks - it all comes together perfectly. Not too crowded midweek either. One of the best things I've done in any European city.
Perfect winter city trip
Spent a few days in Copenhagen in December and the Christmas markets near Rådhuspladsen were really cozy. Grabbed æbleskiver and glögg and just wandered around. The city looks beautiful when it's all decorated. Danes really know how to do hygge.
Loved the relaxed pace here
Copenhagen doesn't feel like it's trying too hard. Strøget is a great shopping street - long, lively, easy to spend hours on. The food scene is excellent without being pretentious. Everything just feels well thought out.
